Infraglow Foodex Pvt. Ltd. was established in 2024 under the leadership of Mr. Chetan Saxena, a senior architect and innovator in food processing machinery. His journey in food processing technology began in 2019 with the establishment of Sunglow Energy System in Lucknow.
During extensive visits across India, he identified a critical challenge in the agricultural sector: large quantities of perishable produce such as onion, ginger, garlic, tomato, green chilli, fruits, herbs and other agricultural commodities were being wasted due to limited processing facilities, short shelf life and high transportation costs. This resulted in significant post harvest losses and reduced returns for farmers and producers.
At the same time, India’s food processing industry was rapidly expanding, creating a growing demand for high quality dehydrated fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices and other food ingredients. This gap between agricultural production and industrial demand led to the development of Infraglow Foodex with a clear objective: to convert perishable agricultural produce into stable, value added products with longer shelf life and wider market applications.
Advanced infrared drying that preserves product
Infraglow introduced advanced infrared dehydration technology designed to remove moisture efficiently while helping retain the natural colour, flavour, aroma and nutritional characteristics of the product.
The technology can be applied to a wide range of fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices and other food and botanical materials.
From compact dryers designed for small entrepreneurs and farmers to large industrial dehydration systems, Infraglow develops solutions according to production capacity, product requirements and application needs.
Smart solar and infrared drying for efficient processing.
The company’s innovation journey further expanded with the integration of infrared drying technology with solar thermal systems.
Its hybrid solar and infrared drying solutions utilise available solar heat during the daytime while automatically integrating electrical heating when required.
This approach helps reduce dependence on conventional electrical energy and operating costs while maintaining controlled and consistent dehydration conditions.
Through solutions such as Unnat Tunnel Dryers and Adhunik Hybrid Solar IR Dryers, Infraglow aims to make modern dehydration technology accessible to farmers, women entrepreneurs, small businesses and large scale food processors.
Infraglow Foodex goes beyond manufacturing food processing machinery. The company supports entrepreneurs throughout their dehydration business journey, including product selection, processing techniques, value addition, production planning and market understanding.
With the capability to process more than 2,000 types of products, the company provides technical guidance for developing dehydrated and value added products for applications across food processing, ready to eat, ready to cook, spice, nutraceutical, herbal and other industries.
The company’s objective is to connect agricultural production with food processing and market opportunities by enabling producers to increase shelf life, reduce wastage and create higher value from agricultural commodities.
