How it runs, hour by hour
Daytime.
The UV-stabilised polycarbonate tunnel traps solar heat, running
the inside 10–12°C above ambient — the system draws little to no electricity
while the sun is up.
Set and forget.
A control panel with a temperature controller and sensors
holds the set point automatically, whatever the weather is doing outside.
Night, winter, rain.
The infrared heating system takes over automatically to
maintain the required drying temperature, so a batch is never left half-dried.
The result.
Even, low-temperature drying that keeps colour, aroma, essential
oils and nutrition intact — and rehydrates close to its original state in water.
